Empty city
Decided to walk the City of London Sculpture Trail today and I really wanted to see if the City was really as empty as people were saying. I just couldn’t believe how quiet it was. Very few restaurants and shops open and those that were had no one in. I walked over The Millennium Bridge which at this time of year is usually thronged with tourists - hardly a soul now. Stopped for lunch at a very well organised Wagamama restaurant and came back home through an almost deserted Waterloo underground station. Good to see everyone on the trains were wearing masks. I wonder how long it will take to get people to return to work in the City. Even the Extention Rebellion protesters had only a handful of supporters!
