Preparation

Drove to Otley to do some more business at the bank.
Had to queue as only two customers allowed at one time.
As l was there l went round the open market but didn’t buy anything.
Then it was more digging and another visit to the tip.
After lunch l made the red pepper sauce after reading a few recipes , mostly the same except for the alcohol used. 
Had no dry sherry or white wine so used a cup of Marsala, not very French but it made the sauce taste great. Took nearly three hours to complete .
Now it has cooled l’ve poured it over the lamb to marinade.
Needs two hours in the oven tomorrow.
Will do that at Tim’s.
Will prepare the rosemary roast potatoes tomorrow morning .
But as l made my dinner tonight l dry fried some blanched almond with sea salt. Managed not to burn any as they soon turn brown.. 
Will enjoy them with an aperitif tomorrow.
