This display is at the Heard Museum that has been in Phoenix as a collection since the 1920's. Then the Heards built the museum. It's quite wonderful and recently opened again. I had not been in years and they had some new collections. It was wonderful and was not at all crowded. Masks can sure drive you to distraction. Phoenix extremely hot again with bad air.

This display made me cry. I have a deep respect and love for ancient cultures. Theirs was ripped away in such a brutal fashion. Please look at the extra to see 4 men in tribal dress. The 3rd extra is a young man in his native hair and dress before he was made to look like white men.
