Tough stuff

When we brought this lovely gift of an orchid up from the humid, hot climate of Sydney to the Mountains chilliness, we were very much afraid it wouldn't like it at all. Yet now, after some 17 months of extreme temps, it is looking better than ever. Tally this late winter/spring: 4 flowers, and 8 buds! What a treat!
