Garden Cosmos
Not much to report from today. Made our way home from the Cotswolds and dropped in to see Mum & Dad on the way home. Dad is looking really well and not like he’s just spent four days in hospital which is great. He was keen to “get back to normal” and was talking about mulching the roses in the front garden until my Mum put a stop to it, and quite rightly so. He did admit to feeling a bit tired though to a chorus of “told you so!”
Grabbed their weekly shopping list and went home to unload. Wash on and then off to Sainsbury’s.
The tomatoes were fine and there were lots to pick and they are delicious. We are still seeing new flowers blossoming, most recently the patch of cosmos that I sowed quite late in the year. Before we left there were plenty of orange ones but now we have just started to see these lovely pale yellow ones emerging that I really like.
