New Romney
A lovely 11 mile circuit from the seafront at New Romney northish along the England Coast Path to Dymchurch where we stopped for lunch and coffee on the prom.
It was a cloudy start, brightening up later with good, warm sunny spells giving very fine cloudscapes. Just right for walking and also casual fishing as this fellow is doing. I refrained from posting a photo of a fisherman’s bum, which is the same as a builders bum but seen on the beach.
From Dymchurch we turned inland making for the village of St Mary’s in the Marsh, one of many Marsh villages before turning south back towards New Romney.
As we were passing the RHDR station a train obliged, so I had no choice but to post it as an extra.
The walk was rounded off with a cup of tea, courtesy of the Trangia, and a slice of almond a cherry cake back on the seafront at a location which will soon have a plaque dedicated to the two people who were always stopping here for a brew.
