Through the pines

It’s quite a while since we have walked up this side of the coast. A pleasant afternoon circular walk with coastal and river views. There were quite a few people who had the same idea as us but there was plenty of room for everyone. We met an elderly couple who wanted to know how far they needed to walk to get a view of the coast. They had driven down a lane which was no more than a wide footpath. I told them they needed to walk for 15 minutes. I wonder if they managed to see the sea.
