A Murky Sort of Day
It was gray and cool until early afternoon today - more typical fall weather than the darned heat we've been having. Although it looks like it will be warm for the rest of the long weekend, and perhaps hotter again next week. Never a dull weather moment!
I had a grand time this morning just cooking in the kitchen - it's been ages since I've had the time. We have a friend coming over for a socially-distant BBQ this evening, so I'm making a lovely marinated pork loin and grilled veggies that I'll serve with corn tortillas and guacamole...followed by a galette of my own blueberries and a few added peaches. Yum!! So happy not to be teaching via Zoom anymore!
This begonia has just gotten more and more beautiful as the months go by. It seems that I planted it in April, in the midst of the early pandemic. I really like it and will have to dig up and store the tuber before it gets too cold!
Thank you so much for your continued lovely comments and support of my one year blip anniversary, as well as yesterday's dahlia. You guys make my heart sing!
