Flying high.........

......on an extremely strong westerly wind!

I dropped the Driver off at the pub to have a boys afternoon with #1 son and #1 grandson. (It's Fathers Day here)  The pub is on the beachfront so I packed the camera, dropped him off and ventured out into the elements. Blimey, the wind almost blew me over. It was hard to hold the camera steady with the 100-400 attached. 

This bloke was absolutely flying over the waves and every now and again he would soar skyward. I reckon he was 20 metres up at times yet landed gently. Another lady and I were a bit worried about his safety (we both agreed we sounded like mothers!)
