Stage 2- complete!
Finally made the marmalade today. It worked really well. My friend who made the same recipe said it was a bit runny so I substituted some jam sugar in the recipe to give the natural pectin in the oranges a boost.
I got about 10 variously sized jars out of it . I'd always thought making marmalade would be difficult but I really enjoyed it. There are still plenty of Seville oranges in the shops so I'm tempted to make more, but I'm running out of empty jam jars - and space!
