The morning after the night before

What a perfect day! Celebrating my daughters birthday yesterday with family and friends. The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time (outside and socially distanced (ish). We carried on till late with the fire pit alight and the music turned up.

We love a party and people seem to like coming to our house - it’s hard work but rewarding. Maybe a new career as a party planner could work?

After the last few days I realise more than ever that certain friends and family are the most important things in life- everything else doesn’t matter.

Today is going to be spent mostly lazing around not doing much.
