Fireside

Today would normally be our village fete day. But that was in Other Times. Today, instead of spending the morning running around worrying about the marquee, generator, and fancy dress judges, we had a leisurely (if a bit chilly), coffee and chat in the park with friends.
The evening was spent with fireside food, drink and music.
A good day.
