Doesn't look like a very big job on the canal towpath so I am not expecting to see a huge difference when they are finished.

I think it is encouraging that the towpaths are maintained and even more encouraging that local users (chap on the right in the light top) simply ignore the "Footpath Closed" and "Keep Out" signs to carry on using the path as normal.
