Disappointed

With approximately 5 tons of apples remaining (*), we bought a bigger, fancier device to crush them before pressing. This is the view down the hopper to the crushing wheels. Unfortunately the crushed pieces are too big for our flimsy press - we hardly got any juice out at all, and had to go chuck all the bits into the food processor to chop it finer. Which wasn’t the idea at all. Sadly, it’ll be on eBay later this week.

* - not really 5 tons, but still a lot - apples have taken over the house!
