Spitfire Day!

We had the most amazing morning at Biggin Hill airport... something that will live with me forever.

We went up in a little 8-seater plane to fly alongside my dad who was in the back of a Spitfire! It was incredible!

We flew wing to wing, on both sides then they broke away and flew round to buzz past us on the right. After that they flew off to perform some manoeuvres including rolls and even allowing my dad to take control for a little while.

What an experience for L’s first ever flight - she came with me, N and my mum in the spotter plane.

We’ll come back down to earth eventually!
