Tuesday Morning Market
I never get to go to the Tuesday morning market, but on this snowy Tuesday morning the elementary school teachers are on strike about changes that are to be implemented next school year. So, no school for me! I strolled over the the market in the snow and walked through the stands. I didn't come away with anything besides photographs, even though there were some temptingly inexpensive used books being sold out of suitcases! This also gave me another good opportunity for me to move away from my snow and mountains theme which I was getting a bit tired of. I like this picture because it looks old, as if it was taken in Paris back when Hemingway lived there. I think that thought is in my subconscious though because I just finished "Garden of Eden" by Hemingway and I just moved on to "The Beautiful and The Damned" by Fitzgerald. Maybe this is like that movie, Midnight in Paris! I can dream that it's happening to me...
