Small white butterfly

Busy day, horse riding, gardening, painting bedside tables and then finally starting to get some colour on the bedroom walls. Cue unwelcome discovery that muppets inc had used silicone round the windows and even though we've removed it and replaced with caulk the paint isn't adhering properly. Any great ideas??
