Maryland Meadowbeauty

We took a trip to Mrs. P's farm today. The house has been sold but her sons still own the woods and fields. It has grown up so much we did not recognize most of the area. One sad find was how some of the woods have been clear cut. I saw many wildflowers and with the Seek app I was able to identify them. I hope my long, hot shower when I got home freed me of ticks and chiggers I encountered on our hike through the woods and fields.
