Common Items #14: Afternoon snacks

Thankfully, today did not get as hot as expected.  Part of that is because there was so much smoke in the upper atmosphere that it create some cloud cover.  We only got to 98 deg F today.  The weather report says tomorrow should be the same but the rest of the week will cool down a bit.  

Because of the heat and smoke, we didn't even venture out of doors other than to take the pups out.  

But we did have a terrific Zoom bible study today with our friends from all around the world.  Our group consists of teachers and leaders from 7 countries on 4 continents.  We marvel at the opportunity to all get together and talk together.  It is amazing.  Isn't technology wonderful?  We all decided to get together since all of our churches have closed because of the pandemic.  But even once they reopen we may still meet together weekly.  

Our internet, thankfully, appears to be back to normal.  So, I hope to catch up on all of your journals over the next few days!
