Act
Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
These virtues are still very evident in our country and our nation. As I continue to slowly “open up” my own movement around the USA, I continue to see good people, doing good things, trying to be respectful of others and taking time out of their day to help others, be kind, offer encouragement and use the gifts that God has given them to Act in a productive way.
Today, may you pass an American flag (or your country flag), realize that you are just one person but have a tremendous opportunity to live today for others, for kindness, for hope and for the thankfulness of the gifts that we have been given.
Today may signal the end of summer for some, for me - it is the beginning of fall, a new season and new opportunity. I think I’ll rest and get out there - help, encourage and do my part to improve the well being of others.
Happy Labor Day!
