Looks like Autumn

I was walking through the school grounds after work and noticed this little residue of seed pods up against the fence. Lovely rich brown tones, reminiscent of autumn. The black seeds which were enclosed by them have moved on. It's the height of summer here, and we have had some unbearably hot days this year, but lately it has been relatively mild. (My kind of weather, actually. Between 22 and 25 degrees C is my idea of perfect. Under 30 is tolerable. Over that and I am drooling over pictures of ice and snow!)
