Calendar Girls and Boys

Alf surprised us this afternoon with a (slightly) belated anniversary present. He and Alice had put together a lovely calendar with photos of D and I and the children through the years. I just had to mark the date in my blip as I’m pretty sure it’s the first present he’s ever bought either of us off his own bat.
Pops was up early, having made her packed lunch last night, packed her school bag and laid out her uniform and went off to school which felt a bit strange after having her home for so long. Alf slept through his alarm and wake up calls from both D and I so was late for his first lesson. Luckily he’s doing distanced learning from home on a Monday so only had to shuffle over to his laptop to sign in. Boys eh!
