almost finished

Christmas duvet cover project 1 - birds. Just need to add the buttons and buttonholes at the bottom. I’m pleased with this, so much fun to make. It’s very big, king size, and short of hanging it on the washing line to take a picture (and it’s been raining for most of the day) it’s difficult to show that much of it. The pillowcases are made from the pink/grey doves material (half way down the left side) and the whole thing is edged with the little yellow penguins in various poses. There are 18 different bird fabrics plus the little penguins. I’ve enjoyed making it. Getting on well with Project 2 - flowers.
