Stuck

The Saturday during the Labor Day holiday might not have been the best time to try and experience the wine country of Baja Mexico. Not only was the traffic crazy, as seen here at the quota (tollbooth) heading back to Rosarito, but the temperatures inland reached 48.5ºC (almost 120ºF) on the car thermometer. We only ventured from the air conditioned car once, but after being ignored by winery staff for 15 minutes, gratefully escaped the sweltering conditions on the patio. We will no doubt try again during a cooler, non-holiday time (and go to a different winery).
