Getting to know him

I've been into work today - arrived there just after 7.30 to find all the Deputy Heads already at their desk (and a very cheery bunch they are to at that time of the day!). 

Left work on time to collect the boys from after school club (very early for normal work leaving), followed the sat nav, it took me a super weird route that added an extra half hour onto the journey which was beyond frustrating and the husband had to leave work to get the boys.  

The youngest arrived home with his first ever 'reading' book (no words yet) and the tractor book he had on Friday from the school library.  His reading book says he didn't want to give the tractor book back, I think they have some work to do getting to know him and the chances are high that book will rarely be back in the school library. 

Today I'm grateful for

The eldest excited about his school work when he came home
