Monarch on teasel

A gorgeous day today, with sunny skies, moderate temperatures and low humidity. After breakfast, we drove over to Fernald reserve on the north west side of town, hoping to see some bird life. In that, we were disappointed, but we did see several butterflies, a dragonfly and a cicada up close - see extra! In the afternoon, Roger went for a swim at the “Y”, while I stayed in. In the evening, dinner outside on the patio again, followed by a bit of TV and some knitting. Unfortunately I made a sad discovery - I had made a mistake about 2-3 inches back, so I need to undo it all - arghh!!
