Turns out she's gone away for half term so I didn't need to rush.
Dammit.

Having a spectacularly vile day with Littlest.
No matter how hard I try, I will never be the mum that he needs to make his life make sense.
He is killing me today. No matter how many times I step back and try to stop the downward spiral brought on by his behaviour, we just end up caught up in it again.
