Front row seat

I would be hard pressed to identify much that was exciting today. Monday morning yoga is always good for the soul, I finished the piece of work I started on Friday and sent it off, and I engaged with my inbox fairly productively for most of the rest of the day. Later on, I walked over to Projekt42 and did a 'bootcamp' type exercise class, which was with a different instructor (a man this time), which I didn't hugely enjoy, but could perhaps get more out of if I did it a few more times. After dinner, book group zoom was enjoyable, with an excellent book The Vanishing Half, but also some depressing chat about our COVID futures (at least are relatively short term futures as students return to universities).

I put a post up on Facebook about the COVID-like illness that Mr A and I experienced in November/December (which started off with a rasping cough and incorporated loss of sense of taste for him), wondering whether it might have been... It came straight after a period of travel, including taking the RER across Paris, packed in like sardines.

You wouldn't want a front row seat on my life right now. Too boring.
