Tiny Tuesday - Stitches

I've honed in on an embroidered beastie on a cushion which sits on a chair occasionally used by one of the cats, so there's a bit of fluff as well. Free of charge ;-)

On my 30-minute walk into the village and back this morning I met and chatted to:

~  David, relief worker in the library, who was walking his dog who'd rolled in something disgusting. I sympathised - with David, not the dog;

~ Bruce, the electrician, who was on a job in the village store. He still hasn't solved the mystery of my defunct door buzzer despite numerous attempts;

~  Frances, retired village postie, now in her mid-80s, who still addresses me by name without a second's hesitation and today, as always, asked how my 'girls' are doing;

~  an unfamiliar resident who was working in her garden and woke me from my dwam as I passed, to comment on the fine weather;

~ and MrW, a neighbour of P's, who slowed down as he passed in his car to offer me a lift home. "No, thanks, I enjoy the walk."

There's definitely something special about village life.
