Stitches In Time
This is an Annual Cicada, head-on. I found it yesterday at the DogPark. Sadly, it had passed away so of course I saw a potential 'blip'. I carefully carried it home to save it for today's TinyTuesday entry. The earliest Cicadomorpha fossil found has been dated to the Upper Permian period, about 200 million years ago, give or take a million years or so. Thanks for hosting TinyTuesday, Mary! :)
And here is an ancient and yet rather timely thought to ponder:
'If you do not change direction you may end up where you are heading.'
