A First Glimpse of Autumn Colors
After our big weekend backpacking and swimming adventure, I swore to my husband that I was not leaving the house on the Labor Day holiday. But he enticed me to go with him by promising a quick taco run to the Taco Bell at Hills Plaza. So we went into town and did just that. And the tacos were nommalicious, to be sure.
We stopped on the way home at Fairbrook Park, which is a cute rural park at the edge of State College. It has a pretty little path through the woods, some playground equipment, a pavilion, sports fields, and benches, and big corn fields that you're not allowed to walk in anymore (alas). I spotted a first glimpse of some autumn color in the trees.
Fall is coming! It's coming! It's almost here!
Here is a song for the first glimpse of autumn colors: Cyndi Lauper, with True Colors.
P.S. I had to post two blips today to catch up. Please also enjoy the cloud show at Black Moshannon (Sunday's blip), as well!
