Bealach na Gaoithe

Bealach na Gaoithe, The Pass of the Wind lies high above Upper Loch Torridon on the way over to Lower Diabeg.

The weather in Torridon was pretty cloudy and overcast but, as happened last year, as soon as you go over the pass it improves no end and it was lovely and clear with view across to the Outer Hebrides and the northern tip of Skye down in Diabeg.

The photo was taken on our way back and rain had been forecast at that time, I don’t think it detracts from the view at all.
