Nikon D850 and Nikon Z7

A chance today to use the Z7 at Birdland and then back in the studio. A basic simple comparison was set up to use the D850 with the older 70-200mm lens, which is my favourite, and the Z7 with the updated version of the same lens. We used a single flash to light the subject, our resident model - Quinny!  We then swapped the lenses to see if there was any difference. Conclusion is that quality of image is pretty identical. I love the D850 so not in any hurry to change. However, I can see the advantage of a electronic viewfinder in darker conditions. The counter to this for me is the camera is a little small and is not particularly comfortable in my hands. Lovely bit of kit though.
