Down Under

We had a two-hour private tour of the Gouffre De Padirac today which, essentially, is a giant hole in the ground leading to an underground river and extraordinary galleries of brightly coloured stalactites and stalagmites. This was more research for the next book, and involved sailing through great cracks in the earth and climbing more than 600 steps. Bloody exhausting, but if I can manage it, so can Enzo - he’s younger than me!
