Twenty four jars of marrow and apple chutney are cooling in their trays. My marrow stockpile is under control, but my windfall box is hardly dented. And there are plenty more still on the trees.

Katie (or Katy) produces a beautiful red, tasty fruit. They’re not dropping yet, but they’re already tasty plucked off the bough.
