Camberley Bookclub

I joined my virtual Bookclub today, discussing Restoration by Rose Tremain. I thought it was awful, which is a shame as we had read another of her books and that was very good. What amazed me was that this one had been nominated for the Booker prize! It only scored 5.5 out of 10 so I wasn’t alone! Nuff said!
It was a dull wet day here and I sat in on a garden meeting in Surrey (socially distanced of course) that was in bright sunshine! We have our next book now so hoping for better things at the next meeting :-))
