Whitegate Station

Our walking group met for the first time in 6 months and I clocked up a few more miles after yesterday's hill walking. 

The walk started at Whitegate station on the Whitegate Way. I have taken photographs along here before but I think this might the first time that I have featured the old station itself. As you can see the old station building and sign remain as does the edge of the platform (not in photo). There are a couple of interesting photos on a noticeboard showing how the station used to look.
