Bo’ness meander
Had a fabulous walk round Bo’ness, in Falkirk. It’s an old mining town and home to the Hippodrome Cinema (built in 1912) and where the Silent Film Festival takes place every year (roll on March 2021). It’s also home to the Bo’ness to Kinneil Steam Railway. Here’s the signal box, built in 1893 and still going strong.
Had lunch at Brian’s Cafe (nice distancing, sanitising, mask wearing, as well as contact and trace), before having a wander and supporting the local independent Inkspot and Silverleaf bookshop.
I hope you have had a similarly enjoyable day.
