House numbering

Photo has no artistic merit at all.
On the other side of the road all houses have odd numbers and they go in sequence. But this side, they are all No. 24. Running from 24A to 24K. They are new compared to the odd numbered side. But why the planners numbered them in this way, I cannot guess.
