Lady Gray's Well

Someone asked us the day before if we knew where the well was. We didn't and so we searched today and found this rather messy and neglected spring. It merits a name on the OS 1:25000 map and is said to be a clootie well. These are places of pilgrimage where a cloths or ribbons are left.
