Bramble and apple

Today hubby decided to get rid of the bramble bush which had invaded our garden so he picked the brambles off it first. I then took some of the apples off the tree and made a bramble and apple pie. It turned out pretty well considering it is years since I have made my own pastry apart from an almond and orange pastry for the mince pies at Christmas.
