Otterly cute

Today has been a grand day.
It started off with me having the utter joy of watching otters playing and fishing on the River Kent for about an hour and a half. 
A phone call from the Dr’s surgery saying that my blood sugar levels had dropped significantly and how pleased she was.
It was then time for our weekly food shop.  Thanks to the earlier news it made it even easier to avoid cakes and sweeties (feeling very smug).
An afternoon nap, which I think is almost obligatory for us retired folk and then back for more otters this evening.  Sadly none around.
I finished sorting this mornings pics out, turned around to see the bird feeder with one hedgie on it and their dining room occupied by the 
other.
As I said A Grand Day.
