Golden Gorgeousness

Here we are, safely on Faro Island, five or so minutes from the airport, ready to pick up our guests tomorrow. An extra of more gorgeousness. I do love to be at the seaside. 

Gratefuls:
- perfection in a steak, from Mirandesa beef, at Novo Coimbra on the way down
- getting straight out of the car to walk along the estuary, as the tide was down - seeing spoonbills, fiddler crabs, herons, storks, cormorants, egrets and other seabirds I don't know the name of yet, as well as loads of fish swarming in the shallow water
- then to the sea side of the sand bar, to sit in the sand and watch the sun set over the Atlantic
