Flora and Bluebell

The light was fading when I took this photo. The hens are happy in the fruit cage, have loads of space, but still as soon as I come to the gate, they make a dash for freedom! At the weekend I hope to get a day down there to do some digging, and I'll let them out with me to scratch about when I do.

Work has been ok, but the sun came out and it was very warm by 4, so I was pleased to finish for the day shortly after. It gave me time to sort the airing cupboard before i went up the allotment to dig out a few more potatoes, until it was too dark to see.

Made a birthday card for a work colleague when I came back, which I will post tomorrow. No sewing tonight.
