Eerie

I took this picture from my couch at about 1:30 pm. Dusk at high noon. The temperature has dropped from 111° on Monday to 65° today. Helicopters are flying low overhead. Hard to know if they are PG&E or fire ones. Ali and an electrician are in our garage, wires going everywhere. No way of knowing what’s going on there and I’m not about to ask. There really is no way to put a good face on anything that is happening here other than to say that we seem to be safe even though it feels like we are in the 7th circle of hell.
