For your overwhelming response to my blip anniversary. That was touching!
Will answer ‘in person’ one of these days. It showed that my feelings about you, my friends on blip, are reciprocated. I am one happy blipper now!!

A second day with yellow sky, a red sun and very bad air quality. No telephone connection either. This phenomenon that brought the smoke of fires 100 miles east of the coast ( as I now learned was the one close by our house contained ) has happened only three times in the last 100 years. The reason is an unusual wind from ENE, that has replaced our normal strong west winds.
Tonight the wind started to turn back to normal and by now the smoke has dissipated quite a bit.
