Touch of red - emergency blip

The weather has been sunny and warm - maybe packing away some of of my summr clothes was premature!.
Busy morning in charity shop and then an SOS from No 2 son to take him and his spaniel to the vet.  When we got to the car park outside the vets, Barclay (the dog!) perked up a lot and it was decided after a telephone call to the said practice that an appointment was no longer necessary.  We then made a detour on the way back to his house to collect his mobile phone from a fellow footballer as they had picked up the wrong bags when they left the venue of the game the night before.

At least it was a lovely drive through countryside carrying out all these errands and proves that mothers still have their uses!
