My next door neighbour had two apple trees blow over in the gales a couple of weeks ago.
This man visited today to tidy it all up and cut them in to manageable lenghts.
I had first refusal of the said wood, so accepted on the spot.
This chap said bring your trailer and we will cut and load it for you.
Happy days, I was there like a shot.
I asked him if he could just take a branch down for me.
Yes he said, no problem, £50.
Must have taken him best part of 10 minutes to do it.
It's having the kit and know-how, I suppose.
All in all a reasonable day, I'm happy.
