Surprise

I’ve always loved my sister’s Brugmansia. I bought two little plants from EBay. They’ve been loved, watered and fed but I didn’t expect either of them to flower this year. So when this one had a bud I was surprised but I was delighted today to find that it had opened.

Hopefully I’ll be able to keep it alive during the winter.

During the day in between meetings I’ve been making a sourdough loaf. It’s now in the fridge and will be cooked tomorrow evening.

As we had some old bananas I’ve made some banana muffins this evening. I’ll let you know what they taste like tomorrow.
