Fungi

Another nice day but I haven't ventured too far, down the garden to fetch up some firewood which we keep stacked in an old poly tunnel and a bit of kindling, dead twigs that have blown down from the trees with all the winds we've been having lately. Then back to my painting job, & making a turkey curry for tea.

This tree (not in my garden) looked interesting with a mass of shell shaped fungus growing in it's trunk , I think it is a type of flowering cherry but alas I fear it's flowering days are over
